BA Certifiers Pty Ltd Brisbane is a team of experienced building certifiers that are licensed with the QBCC and accredited by the Australia Institute of Building Surveyors (AIBS) and/or the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS). We are able to provide certification services in accordance with the Queensland Building Act 1975.
Our role as building certifiers, is essentially to facilitate the approval, inspection and certification process of building works, ensuring building work complies with required parts of the Queensland Development Code (QDC), the National Construction Code (BCA now NCC), the relevant Australian Standards (AS) and all applicable building legislation.

By rebranding in October 2023 and continuing the previous service provided by BCA Certifiers Australia Pty Ltd (Brisbane Office) ending in September 2023. BA Certifiers Pty Ltd has retained all the experienced Brisbane staff and certifiers and therefore are able to continue and complete previous engaged clients and continue to work with the client base and all future projects.
Our aim is to answer your phone call or email in a prompt and efficient manner. Once engaged as a regular client you will have direct access to the allocated certifier. We will guide you through the process to enable us to issue your Building Permit (BA) as soon as possible so you can get your project underway.
During the approvals process and the construction phase we can assist in the provision of a comprehensive building compliance advice service, ensuring the building being designed and constructed meets all NCC and other regulatory requirements and will be suitable for occupation and use on completion with the appropriate final certificate issued for sale in the future.
Once the Building Permit is issued and when the building is under construction we will:
• advise who can carry out mandatory inspections
• carry out the mandatory final inspection and any additional inspections as necessary;
• provide ongoing compliance advice to ensure your project is constructed in accordance with the BA documents;
• complete Final Certification for your project upon satisfactory completion of the building work and acceptance of all required certification and supporting documentation;
• issue the Final Certification documentation to the building owner and Local Government in accordance with the Queensland Building Act 1975 to finalise the BA process.
